Special characters

Quartet is capable of accepting certain special characters for its searches and also searching in multiple languages.

In general, Quartet searches letters and numbers with the ability to also search some special characters.

Text searching will work with some non-English alphabets such as Hangul, Kanji, and Cyrillic alphabets. The same search commands and operators used for English searching apply when searching with non-English alphabets.

Greek letters

Greek letters may be searched by symbol (β) and by spelled out name (beta), as the system uses them interchangeably.

Examples:
